Project Overview

The goal was to create a modern landing page that simplified the client journey.
The site needed to:

  • Booking System: Acuity Scheduling was integrated to automate appointments and reduce manual handling.
  • Payments: Multiple gateways were added, allowing clients to choose between deposits or full payments.
  • Security: Wordfence was implemented alongside hosting‑level hardening to protect against threats.
  • Design: A clean, responsive layout optimized for mobile and desktop, ensuring effortless navigation and booking.

The Challenge

Albert’s reputation and global clientele meant his services were in high demand, but his booking process was inefficient. Clients discovered him through social media and had to message him directly to request appointments. Handling deposits manually through back‑and‑forth conversations created friction, wasted time, and left room for errors.

Albert’s clients were reaching out through social media messages, which meant every appointment had to be confirmed manually. Deposits were requested via chat, often leading to confusion, delays, or missed payments. This process wasn’t scalable for an international stylist with a high volume of inquiries.

With clients flying in from different countries, payment methods and currencies varied widely. Relying on informal transfers or manual arrangements exposed Albert to risks, from failed transactions to security concerns. He needed a system that could process deposits and full payments seamlessly, while giving clients confidence in the safety of their transactions.

03 – Reduce administrative overhead.

Managing bookings, deposits, and client communication consumed valuable time that Albert could have spent on his artistry. The lack of automation meant he was juggling customer service tasks alongside his styling work. A streamlined solution was essential to free him from repetitive admin duties and allow him to concentrate on delivering world‑class hair styling experiences.

To address these challenges, I designed and developed a streamlined landing page using WordPress. This provided flexibility and scalability for future growth, such as expanding into eCommerce. Key elements included:
